		<description>Published in 1955 the novel is about the exploits of an American law student in Ireland.  I haven&#039;t read it but plan to do so soon.  To make the list it&#039;s going to have to reprent the sixties sensibility in some way.  I&#039;ll let you know what I think when I&#039;m done.  I also hear it&#039;s going to come out as a movie with Johnny Depp.  Like Tropic, it was banned in the US and first published in France, so it&#039;s got that going for it, which is pretty good.</description>
